Last Day in San Fran

We were all going to get together last night (Tuesday night) to walk over to 11th street since that's where the nightlife was supposed to be. It turned out that none of our rooommates wanted to go with us and when we got to the strip, everything was closed. We didn't realize that the nightlife only applied to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Personally I think it's bad business to close during the week. We couldn't find the bus station back to our hostel since the one we were dropped off at is only one way. We decided to follow the route until we hit a bus station. After a lot of walking, we asked someone on the sidewalk for directions and little did we know that it was really a guy cross dressing as a woman. Only in San Francisco. haha We finally got back, but it was quite an experience.
Today we walked for hours to get to the Golden Gate Bridge. We didn't actually walk across it, but we had pretty good views. (I feel like when I get back home I'm going to have a pretty fit body from walking over 5miles a day! We shall see though because Heather said nothing big happens in one week :P )
We also went to Berkeley's campus. We had to take BART, which is the public transportation system here along with MUNI, which we had to take a few times to get to other areas. Berkeley has a nice campus, but it was way too spread out and hilly for me.
We are on our way to LA now so we're going to the greyhound station to catch our "red-eye" bus. We should be in LA tomorrow morning.
