And One More is Four

Matt and I are expecting a baby in the summer! We are excited, nervous, anxious, and every other feeling in between!
I think the best gift you can give your child is a sibling. Hopefully Sean feels the same way =)

My first gingerbread house

My friend had a gingerbread house party a few weeks ago. We decorated our own houses while listening to Christmas music and eating pizza and candy. I have never decorated a house before (and my friend made these from scratch!) and with everyone bringing an assortment of candy, there were so many options to choose from. I decided to go with a pink theme and am happy with my first house. I made the tree from an upside ice cream cone and also made a penguin skating rink! Sean ate the two pretzels that would have been the front part of my fence, lol.

Matt's 31st Birthday

Matt and Sean on Matt's 31st birthday. Sean drew a picture, complete with penguin stickers!

SNOW!

We have only had one snowstorm so far this season. Last week, the storm dropped about 6 inches of snow. Unfortunately the snow has turned into ice and has stayed on our driveway since, as the temperatures have not been higher than 32 degrees. I hope next year we will have a milder summer/winter. This year the summer was unbearably hot, fall lasted a few weeks, and then winter came with a vengeance.

We bundled Sean up the day after the snowstorm. He didn't know quite what to do with all of his layers. He sort of just stood there until I picked him up and carried him back inside. haha Hopefully the next few times it will become a bit more enjoyable!

Thanksgiving weekend

Mona and Ashwin came to Troy for Thanksgiving so we had the whole family back in town. We took Sohan and Sean to see Santa at Somerset. After I hesitated to leave Sean on Santa's lap, Santa said "I got this". Sean began crying, but the elf rang a bell and somehow Sean stopped long enough to let me take this picture! I'll take what I can get!

Here is a family picture taken on Thanksgiving day.
