Maternity Leave

The doctor suggested I start maternity leave since I am due THIS WEEK! The timing was perfect since last week we had spring break so this is actually my second week off. Before spring break, my Calculus class threw me a going away party. They brought so much food. I wish I had taken a picture of the class and the food. But I hope to see them again at graduation in May. I DID take a picture of the thoughtful card they gave me to wish me well. This was my 2nd year teaching Calc and I love every second of it :)

Meeting Darth Vader at Cranbrook

Cranbrook Science Center was having a super hero day. Matt was originally going to take the boys there while I got some rest at home. As I was looking up hours, I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was super hero day AND that Darth Vader would make an appearance. My boys have been obsessed with Star Wars, especially Sean, for over a year now. There was also a bat cave with real bats in the downstairs area.

The video below is of the kids just staring at Darth. haha

Almost there! Baby coming soon and Renovations almost complete!

Baby Girl is due in 3.5 weeks! I have a c-section scheduled for April 8th unless I go into labor beforehand. The boys are so excited to meet their baby sister soon. I have a week and a half left before spring break. The timing works out so well where I won't go back to school until the next school year. This gives me plenty of time to be home with the kids over the spring and summer.
We have bought almost everything, but haven't set anything up. We are currently renovating our master bathroom and closet so we are waiting for that to finish up so we can have our house back! Our closet is now a walk in closet and is amazing! Here are some after pics. I need to find the before pics, which is basically our closet gutted.

We added frosted french doors and a porcelain wood tile. The finish on the closets is a white gloss.
Closer view. Matt's area is looking much better. Please disregard my garbage bag. I am on my last leg of maternity clothes and can't wait to wear regular clothes after baby arrives!
Our stand in shower is now a bathtub! We put in a high end sliding glass door and a "niche" where we will keep our shampoos, etc. The black tile is porcelain and is on the walls and floors.

Our renovation is a huge upgrade and looks completely different from our master bedroom. One room at a time...

Sean and basketball

Sean has been getting more confident and liking basketball more and more. Matt loves how Sean wants to watch sports on TV. (I love how Sean can watch great movies now like MIB and Jurassic Park!)

Here is a video of Sean dribbling and shooting.
