3 months!

Brad is 3 months old! He is such an even tempered baby and loves sleeping. Although when he cries, it is LOUD. Sean's cry was much quieter. I feel like Brad is going to be my sporty one since he's bigger, heavier and louder. He now takes 3 naps instead of random naps and catnaps throughout the day. He takes a morning, afternoon and early evening nap and goes to bed around 7. He sleeps until the morning with 1 or 2 feedings. During the day he eats every 3 hours with a 4 hour span for his afternoon feed.
The best thing for me right now is when Brad wakes up. I go to his room after he has been looking around quietly for a few minutes. As soon as I turn on the lamp or he hears me come in, he squeals and starts kicking his legs in excitement. What a nice greeting!
Sean has been wonderful towards his baby brother. He wakes up asking where Brad is and knows that Brad is here to stay. Although, Sean can't wait for me to put Brad down for a nap because then he knows he gets to watch a Barney episode.
We haven't started rolling yet, but I think it's coming soon. Brad is also trying to grip the hanging toys from his play place and sit in his bumbo. In the next month, I am going to start dusting off the exersaucer and figuring out my ergo carrier.

Emmys 2011

It was hard to watch the Emmys Red Carpet and the Emmys last night with two small children in the house. I had to watch bits and pieces and didn't complete the show until today. And this is with a lot of forwarding! I think Award Season will be easier since Bradley will be over 6 months (right??!).
Anyways, my favorite dresses were Sofia Vergara and Evan Rachel Wood wearing Vera Wang and Elie Saab, respectively. Sofia can wear anything and look fabulous. Evan has the porcelain skin that works well with the dark, glittery dress she chose.
Modern Family won a lot of well deserving awards. I can't wait for that and Glee to start up this week.

2 months!

Bradley is already 2 months old! He loves to smile and coo, and he has started grasping objects we place in his hand. His schedule at night is pretty routine now. After bedtime, we dream feed at 10:30pm. After that, he only wakes once a night around 3-4am before waking up again in the morning. It wasn't until October when Sean started dropping that feeding and November before he completely dropped it so I am expecting a similar schedule. Bradley watches us as we move in front of him and he now "hugs" me as I hold him instead of letting his arms and head flop all over the place. He loves it when I play motorboat with his legs. Pretty soon, we will start placing him to sit in the bumbo seat!
