Walking!

Sean walked more than a few steps on Thursday night! I was in the kitchen and he decided to try and walk from the living room to where I was. He got about 3/4 of the way! Now he walks whenever we say "walk to mommy/daddy" or just whenever he feels like it! I need to get a video of him in action!

Niagara Falls

Sean traveled internationally last weekend to Niagara Falls Canada! I hadn't been to Niagara in several years and I forgot how breathtaking the falls are. Although we were delayed on the way there and back, due to traffic and construction, our actual vacation was wonderful and relaxing. We stayed at the Hilton Fallsview and it was worth it to reserve a suite with a view for two reasons- 1. After Sean went to bed around 8pm, Matt and I could keep the lights on in our room. 2. The view was AMAZING; Sean even appreciated it. Every time he got up in the morning or from a nap, he would speed-crawl to the window and just look out in awe.



During our stay, we had a picnic near the falls, ate at Rainforest Cafe and Macaroni Grill (obviously we need to dine at family friendly places now!), walked around Clifton Hill, swam in the hotel pool and just enjoyed family time!

Baby Curls

Sean's hair is curling in the back and it's so stinkin' cute. Matt and I both have the straightest hair so this is very unexpected. Even when I brush it while it's wet, it just curls right back up. I was going to take him to his first professional haircut, but I don't want the curls to come off! Decisions, Decisions...

Happy Birthday Sean!

What a wonderful, busy year it has been! Sean's birthday party was the last weekend in June. We had a lot of fun at his nautical-themed bash. On his actual birthday, we let him open his gift from us- a new wagon! I think he'll have more fun riding in that than his stroller. Sean and his smash cake:
