Classes

Sean checking out my blog. He loves lounging on our bed.

I haven't blogged very often this month! We have been super busy. I signed Sean up for KinderMusik at the Birmingham Community House and that starts next week so we'll be even busier. I have never heard of Kindermusik, but everyone has told me it is a great, creative outlet. I am also planning on signing him up for swimming and gymboree in the spring after he learns to crawl/cruise. My parents always put us in a ton of classes and I plan to do the same if I can!

Sean - 6 months

Sean had his half birthday a few days ago. He just got his shots and the poor little guy is taking a nap right now. Luckily, he doesn't have to go back until 9 months and only for one shot. He was 16 lbs 14 oz (50%) and 28 inches long (95%). The doctor commented on how he was such a pretty baby and so tall! Here is my favorite, current picture of Sean (we'll have to move the elliptical in the background next time). He is about 5 1/2 months in this one:

The holidays

Christmas and New Year's were great. I haven't really cared about presents for several years (although I still enjoy receiving them =P ) and look forward to celebrating with family most. This year was no exception. It was fun spending time with the Guptas and Hersteins and I can't wait until Sean is older so we can have our own traditions at home.

We stayed in for New Year's since Sean's bedtime makes it hard to do anything in the evening. Matt and I watched a movie, carried out from PF Changs and were asleep by 11! Maybe next year, I can make it to midnight!
We also had several visitors. Stephanie, Erin and Marc came by. And a few girls from my high school brought their babies over for a playdate!
